Privacy policy
The tools are designed to work without collecting the content you enter.
Tool inputs
Text, numbers, dates, colors and other values entered into a tool are processed locally in your browser. They are not intentionally transmitted to Plain Tools and are not stored by the site.
Information collected
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, Plain Tools receives the name, email address, subject, optional page reference and message you submit. Cloudflare processes the submission and delivers it by email so Plain Tools can reply, investigate a correction or address abuse. Do not send passwords, payment information or other sensitive data.
Hosting data
The hosting provider may process routine request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamps to deliver and secure the site. Plain Tools does not add third-party analytics, advertising pixels or behavioral tracking.
Cookies and local storage
Plain Tools does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A hosting or security service may use strictly necessary technology to protect the site or process a form submission.
Sharing and retention
Contact information is shared only with service providers needed to host the site and process the message, or when required by law. Messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep a record of a correction or protect the service.
Your choices
You can use every public tool without providing contact details. To request access to or deletion of a contact message, use the contact form and include enough information to identify the earlier submission.
Changes
Material changes are posted on this page with a revised effective date. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
